Terms and Conditions
By commissioning me, you are agreeing to all terms and conditions listed below. Please don't be too intimidated—unless these terms are explicitly violated, I won't take action. Overall, if you're nice to me, respect the services I offer, and give me credit for my art, we're good!
GENERAL TERMS
Must be 18 years old or older to commission me (If underage, have a parent or guardian do the purchase for you).
1. Payment is expected within 48 hours of having agreed on the payment
2. Commissioner can re-upload the image with credits given to me in the form of a link to my socials (must be a link!)
3. Artwork cannot be used commercially unless stated in writing by the artist and cannot be claimed as your own by any means.
4. Refunds given will be based on how much work is done. Read below for clarification.
5. At most 3 rounds of changes are allowed before lineart begins, and no further changes can be made without a fee.IMAGE COPYRIGHT
I, the artist, retain full and exclusive rights to the original artwork. The client may not claim it as their own or use it for anything other than personal use.All commissioned artwork is for noncommercial purposes only. Redistribution of my artwork for use in printed merchandise or as promotion of goods, services, or social media pages is prohibited unless a previous agreement was reached and agreed upon. If you have any questions about this, ask me before commissioning me.Conditions for Reposting: The client has my permission to repost the artwork wherever they would like, as long as proper credit is given (a link back to my social media accounts) and my watermark/signature remains intact and unaltered.PROHIBITED ACTIONS
1. Altering my artwork in any way without asking for permission beforehand, with the exception of cropping/resizing the image for an icon or similar use.
2. Using my artwork as references for your own, whether tracing or re-purposing parts of the image.
3. Claim the artwork as your own.
If these terms are broken, you will be privately blacklisted from commissioning me and reported. Further action will be taken if necessary.PAYMENT INFORMATION
1. Payment is made in full, upfront,
2. You will be given 48 hours to pay after the commission is agreed upon. Non-payment within 48 hours will result in the commission being canceled. I will only start your commission after the payment has been made.
3. It is the commissioner's responsibility to tell me when the payment has been sent. Sometimes a payment will not transfer and I won't know about it. If you fail to tell me that you've sent the payment within 48 hours - and I know I absolutely haven't received the payment - then the 48-hour payment term applies to you.REFUND POLICY
1. If the commission is canceled (by me or the client) before work has started, then the client will receive a full refund. (Be aware that I can only refund what was given me, meaning the fees deducted from the amount given will not be refunded back)
2. If the client cancels the commission during progress, the amount refunded will be on a case-by-case basis and up to the artist’s discretion. I do have a rough basis for refunds:
- Sketch: 70%
- Lineart: 50%
3. No refunds will be given after I have finished the Lineart.
4. The artist reserves the right to cancel a commission at any time, for any reason, and without explanation.
5. If I cancel the commission due to my inability to complete it at any state, a full refund will be given.CONTACT & COMMUNICATION
Discussion of commissions can be conducted via one of my socials (Bluesky, Twitter, Instagram, Vgen or Discord) primarily, e-mail is for business inquiries only.Visual Reference Guidelines:
1. The client must provide at least one clear and concise visual reference; please supplement the visual reference with any important information I may need to know to correctly draw the character.
2. If you link to a gallery of your character’s artwork, I cannot promise your design will be done with 100% accuracy. Design interpretations may be inconsistent between images and lessen my ability to accurately draw your character. Shading on potential pieces will also play a part in this.WORKFLOW PROCESS
I work best when given some artistic freedom to create an image based on the characters you provide. I am happy to match a scene or pose that you have in mind, but please allow and expect some variation.Completion of most commissions is generally estimated to take no more than roughly 3 weeks for simpler commissions, and a month or longer for more detailed work. I am a college student and attempting to balance my time, should I take longer to complete your commission than you’d like you are more than welcome to request a refund.If there are any delays in the completion of a commission, I will personally notify the customer.REVISIONS AND EDITS
Any major changes or revisions must be made at the sketch approval stage; this includes any significant changes to a character’s pose or body shape or redrawing parts of the image.
1. After the sketch has been approved, no major edits or
changes will be made. If the commissioner requests
additional edits after the approved sketch, a price for
the edits may be discussed.
2. If I, the artist, make any errors in the character
design, accessories, or any other visual elements specified in the provided visual references, I will make these edits at no additional cost.
3. If you do not want me to post your commission online,
you must tell me when you order and a small fee will be charged for it.
